Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Our 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour begins with an early morning departure from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We travel south through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in Morocco.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

We continue through desert towns and palm-filled valleys, passing through Tinejdad and Touroug, before reaching Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshops and desert landscapes.

Arrival in Merzouga and Camel Trekking

In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, home to the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi, some of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. After a short rest, we begin a traditional camel trek across the Sahara Desert, guided by experienced camel handlers.

Overnight in a Merzouga Desert Camp

Day 3: Merzouga Quad Biking – Rissani – Draa Valley – Return to Marrakech
